Quick Overview

WHAT IS VESL STEM

A competitive STEM league for high school students designed to build real-world skills, expose students to career pathways, and reward performance through challenges.
Students compete on STEM Teams in weekly challenges to earn rewards (gift cards), build skills that matters, and qualify for State Championships.

STEM TEAMS

Just like esports, STEM students will compete on teams this season! 🎉
STEM Teams are formed and compete directly on The NotWork (STEM Teams page) — thenotwork.org/teams
Teams consist of 1–5 verified students from the same school (teams of 1 are allowed!).
Students may only compete on 1 team at a time (across all topics).
A school can have unlimited STEM Teams!

STEM CHALLENGES

Every Sunday, new challenges drop.
Submit before the rewards deadline for the week (Saturday) to win.
Winners announce every Wednesday (top 3 performers in each Mastery challenge).
Challenges drop here — thenotwork.org/mastery
Students submit individually to boost their team score, and earn season points to climb the season leaderboard.
